What’s a Nectar Collector?

Nectar Collector is a trendy new way to smoke concentrates, as opposed to a dab rig or oil rig. Nectar Collectors are unique among smoking gear in that they vaporize but they are not Vaporizers; they are portable, but not hand pipes; they can use water but are not water pipes or bubblers. Mini Nectar Collector is more popular thanks to its effectiveness, ease of use, and for the fun times that you can have to share it with your friends.

Nectar Collector are much more portable than dab rigs in that they are smaller and designed to be held and moved around. The main function of Nectar Collectors is that they can be dragged over concentrates to be inhaled. With a glass dish, your Nectar Collector can be fully portable! Nectar Collectors also make pacing yourself much easier since you’ll be able to sense early when you’ve had too much or when you need more.

Structure of A Nectar Collector

Nectar Collectors Sets, like most pipes, are comprised of a neck, body, and tip. They can be made of glass or quartz. The neck is where the glass whip is, and is the end you will be using to inhale from. Necks are usually detachable and can be linked via a joint. Often a keck clip is used around the joint to keep the neck from falling off. The body is where the smoke travels through, and on a wet, Nectar Collector it is the chamber where you can fill the water. Not all Nectar Collectors use water — dry Nectar Collectors, also called wands, just have straight bodies without water chambers at all. When using a wet Nectar Collector that does have a body chamber, ensure that you fill the water after you have detached the neck so that water doesn’t get trapped in the joint. Generally, the water chamber should be kept less than halfway filled.

On a good Nectar Collector Kit, you may find a diffused downstem inside of the main body water chamber. This adds some extra percolation and smoke diffusion as well. The tip of the Nectar Collector is what the Nectar Collector uses as a kind of nail. The tip connects to the base and can be made of titanium or glass. Generally Titanium is sturdier than glass, and glass can usually only be heated a few times before breaking unless you’re very careful.

How to use a Nectar Collector

Step 1 Add water to the base
Please fill the base slowly with water, making sure that it filled about halfway, allowing the best percolation. Ensure that the glass mouthpiece and titanium tip are removed before filling with water so that water won’t get trapped in the tip.

Step 2 Add glass mouthpiece to base
A small amount of joint wax can be implemented to the base in order to prevent the mouthpiece from sliding in place during use.

Step 3 Add titanium tip to base
Joint wax can be applied as a faint adhesive to the inside of the tip after being heated with a torch, to keep it in place during use.

Step 4 Heat tips with a butane torch until it is about red hot.
Take care not to burn yourself or others! Take care not to overheat the tip as excessive heating can cause cracking. Hold the Nectar Collector horizontally while heating to avoid leaks. If you are going for a low temp dab, you may wish to wait 7-10 seconds to let the tip cool down.

Step 5 When heated, begin to dab the titanium tip into your favorite wax or shatter inhaling at the same time.

Step 6 Press the tip of the Nectar Collector gently against your oil or wax and inhale!

After using it, please cool it down before packing it into the box. Since Nectar Collectors are an easy, portable, and fun way to inhale concentrates, it can be a good idea to buy a cheap nectar collector. Review of Hasmoke Cheap Nectar Collector

Stop what you’re doing and go buy yourself a nectar collector. Honestly, This thing is cheap and it’s a great purchase. I use it to filter my volcano smokes through and it works great. It’s a nice simple percolator that Doesn’t ruin the flavor, just helps make it less harsh. As far as concentrates I can’t give a definitive view on them yet because I was not able to use it on the leftover wax in my container. Nevertheless, either way, less than $50 for a portable bubbler/dabber is great. It also includes the adapter hook if you want to attach a bowl to it. However, it is not the best for flower because it doesn’t diffuse much, but still better than a hand pipe. I would order again, maybe the 14mm size but this one is awesome and portable.
