Some view this as wasteful, others view this as fun. I view this as a necessary way of life.
Smoking bongs is healthier
The water in a bong will filter out particulate matter and likely carcinogens. Studies have mostly been done on tobacco smoked through a water pipe (which is essentially a bong), but that research has shown that water filtration reduces both the amount of particulate matter and the number and quantity of toxic substances in the smoke that passes through it.
